Putahracsa and Patravadi, the story of a lifetime….

Family stories can be dramatic, funny or simple…. Putahracsa is the second home of Patravadi Mejudhon, a renowned figure on the stage and within the Thai performing arts. As a child she spent each summer here running around barefoot, before eventually embarking on her extraordinary career as an actress, playwright, director and producer. In Bangkok , she founded the Patravadi Theatre, a mesmerizing space that combines an open-air theatre with a verdant Thai-style garden. Her successful fusion of contemporary and traditional elements of Thai theatre made her works known to local and international audiences. Today, she has returned to Hua Hin to begin a new venture - a school of performing arts.
